What You'll Do (Core Responsibilites) 

Guest Experience

  • Greet guests warmly in person and over the phone, creating a professional first impression.
  • Make every guest feel welcome, cared for, and informed throughout their visit.
    Answer questions, solve issues quickly, and escalate concerns appropriately.

Scheduling + Day Flow

  • Support the appointment schedule and help the day run smoothly and on time.
  • Communicate with stylists on timing changes, guest needs, and schedule adjustments.
  • Manage wait times and set clear expectations so guests feel taken care of.

Salon Operations + Team Support

  • Keep the salon organized, productive, and guest-ready throughout the day.
  • This is an active, on-the-floor role. You’ll be on your feet and moving throughout the salon most of the day while supporting guests and the team.
  • Perform, track, and delegate daily support tasks (laundry, reset stations, cleaning checklists, inventory, product restock, etc.).
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming environment including lobby/front desk, restrooms, and retail areas.

Systems + Tech Organization

  • Confidently use a computer for daily tasks and communication.
  • Use Google Drive + Google Docs, and have a basic comfort level with Google Sheets (tracking, simple updates, checklists).

  • Help keep team resources organized and accessible.

Marketing + In-Salon Implementation

  • Learn and understand current salon marketing initiatives and promotions.
  • Help implement initiatives in the salon: signage, scripts, reminders, checklists, and consistent front-desk messaging.
  • Gently remind stylists of active promotions and ensure the guest experience aligns with what we’re currently running.

Retail Support + Product Knowledge

  • Learn product knowledge and become confident speaking about what we carry.
  • Support retail sales by recommending products that truly match the guest’s needs (never pushy).
  • Help guests leave empowered—understanding how to use their products at home to maintain results.
  • Keep retail displays stocked and visually appealing.

Leadership Development

  • Build leadership skills through coaching, feedback, and learning our salon systems.
  • Model professionalism, positivity, and a solutions-first mindset.

Required Skills

  • Strong customer service and communication (phone + in-person).

  • Organized, dependable, and able to follow systems/checklists.
  • Comfortable with computers and using the basics of Google Drive/Docs (basic Google Sheets skills a plus).
  • Willing and excited to learn salon software and product knowledge.

Nice to Have

  • Eye for merchandising/retail presentation.
  • Photography/content awareness (spotting great social media moments).
